Formerly known as the King's Head, Waterside Tavern is now a modern bar & restaurant, set within the original 300 year old listed building serving real ale, cocktails, wines and modern continental lagers in the ancient oak beamed setting. 

After being partially closed for renovation, we are now fully open again and no longer subsiding!  The old section of the pub had been subsiding but this has now been carefully rectified by the owners, and redecorated and refreshed.....come and have a look at the historic surroundings.  Even Black Knight is back.  We look forward to welcoming all our regular customers back.

The pub is restored to a full restaurant and pub service, see menu page for downloadable menus as of 13/3/08.

In addition we have one of the largest pub gardens in the region (see photo gallery) with a very large outside seated capacity as well as a range of playground activities for supervised kids up to about 8 years old.  Please feel free to come as a family, we have high-chairs and children are welcome in the restaurant where we cater for kids.
